To future-proof a company by working with the management team and  providing technical and managerial experience that would facilitate a trajectory of steady growth, enabling it to become the leader in its field.

The Approach

ESDL provides Energy Management Solutions. Poised for growth, it needed to re-structure its operations in anticipation of its planned expansion which would enable it to achieve leadership in its field of expertise.

Assuming a Consultant General Manager position, Joseph Restall worked with the leadership team, analysing performance, processes, operation and resources. A programme of change management was then proposed and rolled out across the functions.

ISO 9001 principles were introduced throughout the operation, changing a number of established work practices. Products and solutions were similarly reviewed and upgraded where necessary.

The Result

EDSL invested in a number of class-leading, new solutions which were launched into development, completed, and marketed

With a careful plan to maximise existing resources and properly establish internal roles and processes, the company doubled in size.

Today, it boasts of a recognised international leadership in the provision of solutions in Energy Management particularly in the Hospitality Sector.

Continuous investment in new developments and a sound internal structure enable the company to stay ahead in its vision.
